Learning Link searching for ‘digital champions’
The Learning Link are looking for a couple of folk on Shapinsay willing to be trained to become ‘digital champions.’
Skills required to take up this role includes knowledge of using smartphones, tablets and laptops, as well as a reasonable understanding of online security and potential dangers online.
The Learning Link need someone with patience and empathy who is willing to facilitate drop-in group sessions. Training and support would be provided.
